SHOWER BOY, BEHIND THE CURTAIN:

                       Why would a perfectly normal, freshman college student envision a naked "superhero"? I was taking a shower, simple as that. The water gets extremely hot in those showers, and I thought to myself: Wouldn't it be funny if someone THOUGHT they were a superhero because he/she THOUGHT the shower water was radioactive? It was meant to be a single comic strip for the school newspaper (The Fiat Lux) to get a little laugh, but I decided to run with the idea. The theme was so broad that I figured it would be easy to make a total of ten (obviously that changed!). Whenever I couldn't think of a new idea, I would simply use the campus shower or bathroom. (Hey, it is fitting that I'm inspired by the location, right?).

                      Between demanding classes, a campus job, clubs, etc, I manage to find enough time to get new strips posted off and on. I only started them in October 2003, so I think I've done alright. I'll continue making them for as long as possible...I'm aiming for 100 total at least. There's usually a gap between new postings, but when I do post new strips there's usually a good ten or so.
